Quite good the Fried chicken but not a juice style. If u like the Sambal you must try and the taste is match with Chicken. Aircon room still have many flies. (¯―¯٥)

Never question the culinary goodness of our lady Suharti. Still, they could provide better utilities though.

You have to be very patient to get empty seats, and wait for the food to come. The average time of wating is around 30 minutes. However, I went there during holiday season, so this might not apply during the normal days. The food's tasty, obviously, and the service's excellent for such a crowded place.

This restaurant is considered a legendary restaurant in Yogyakarta, one of the oldest traditional fried chicken in town. Is it good? Yes it is pretty good, but i think it is not the best. For me the chicken is a little bit too oily, the spices sometimes is not penetrating the meat. Especially in the chicken breast, sometimes it is become flavorless. And sometimes they overcook the chicken so it is become very hard and chewy. I thinks this place still pretty good, but their food is unstable (hit or miss).

Food is good but service shall be improved. Staffs look so tired. I would give 5 stars if service is a lot better and we don't have to wait for so long.

This restaurant has achieved a legendary status. One of the original Ayam Goreng Suharti restaurant. The prime menu is the fried chicken specially made and famously delicious. There are other items in the menu and various traditional beverages. If you have never had one of this special fried chicken... I think you should get one. You choose seat yourself and waiters come with menu and you wrote what you want. The meals come very quickly. Hot spicy paste comes separate and it is up to you to use it. You have options eating with spoon/forks or just fingers. Sinks are available for hands washing.

I like the Gedong Kuning restaurant better but this place still has the effing nice crispy-tender-tasty fried chicken.

Air-conditioned room, but many flies..

The otentik fried chicken with crispy flour on the top. The taste so good and it was a main menu for your lunch or dinner . There are so many companion dish too. The place still on original building, maybe they are need to improve the cleanliness and skill regarding the service to customers.

The original Ayam Goreng Suharti, famous for its crunchy fritters to complement the delicious fried chicken (they use free range chicken / ayam kampung). Excellent service. Highly recommend to try this cuisine when visiting Yogyakarta.

The food is delicious, there is live music too, friendly service.

I like the food. The service is quite fast. The rest room not so much. If you come in a group, better to order one chicken (the whole chicken) for 4 people. Its a way to avoid someone getting the head of the chicken when you order box set. Overall, everything is good.

This restaurant near the airport. I have visited this several times. They serve fried chicken that made from local chicken. The price is not so expensive. Only the room, as far as I know without air condition,:that why we feel warm. Just choose the place near the door or window. I like also urab which is like Javanese salad. Vegetables with coconut. They put ingredients inside. It make me feel hungry.

Strongly recommended. Nice meal. Quite oily but the chicken is so tender and yet crispy. The crowd kept coming in until 9pm.

A very famous local fried chicken with loads of loyal customers from different cities. The location is beside the main east road of Jogja, very easy to find and reach.They don’t have many menu available since they are specialized in fried chicken. But you can also order fish menu if you prefer it. Taste is great hence the legendary name. Price is not cheap but still reasonable.They have lots of seating available make it a perfect place for group lunch or dinner. They have separate smoking and non smoking area.Con: one staff needs to ‘upgrade’ his attitude. I wish i can name him but i think it’s just him get too tired. Good luck for him.
